Title

Comprehensive analysis of genetic abnormalities in solid tumors

Research overview

Aims: Through an integrated genetic study involving whole exome sequencing analysis, we delineate the landscape of genetic alterations in solid tumors.

Methods: We collected additional biopsied gastric tissues from nine subjects who underwent diagnostic endoscopy and biopsy for upper gastrointestinal symptoms. Genomic DNA isolated from each gland was subjected to whole exome sequencing.

Targets: Nine subjects without Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection or gastric cancer were included as the healthy population. Two biopsies of normal gastric mucosa were obtained from each subject.
