Research title
Comprehensive analysis of genetic abnormalities in solid tumors
Research overview
- Aims
- Through an integrated genetic study involving whole exome sequencing analysis, we delineate the landscape of genetic alterations in solid tumors.
- Methods
- We collected additional biopsied gastric tissues from nine subjects who underwent diagnostic endoscopy and biopsy for upper gastrointestinal symptoms. Genomic DNA isolated from each gland was subjected to whole exome sequencing.
- Participants/materials
- Nine subjects without Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection or gastric cancer were included as the healthy population. Two biopsies of normal gastric mucosa were obtained from each subject.
