Research title
Identification of genetic polymorphism on aggressive periodontitis
Research overview
- Aims
- To identify polymorphisms (SNP and Indel) of responsible genes for Japanese aggressive periodontitis by whole exon sequencing (WES) analysis. Then, functional analyses forf the responsible genes were assessed by in vivo/vitro biological experiments.
- Methods
- WES by using of HiSeq 2000 (Illumina).
- Participants/materials
- 44 Japanese aggressive periodontitis patients
