Research title

Genomic Analysis of Digestive System Malignancies and Precancerous Lesions

Research overview

Aims
To comprehensively characterize genetic alterations in digestive system malignancies and premalignant lesions at Kyoto University Hospital and elucidate the associations between their genetic profiles and clinicopathological factors.
Methods
Tumor and matched non-tumor tissues were collected from surgically resected IPNB specimens. DNA was extracted from each tissue sample and subjected to whole-exome sequencing.
Participants/materials
intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct (IPNB): 10 cases
