Research overview

Aims
To comprehensively clarify the genetic, neural, experiential and social influences that contribute to the diversity of color vision in humans, using approaches at various levels from genes to cognition.
Methods
Polymorphism analysis of a group of opsin genes related to color vision and their surrounding regions was performed using DNA extracted from saliva.
