DNAs extracted from peripheral blood of 17 Japanese Usher syndrome patients were used and 9 gene regions（109 Kb）were targeted to this study. The regions were narrowed down by using of the Ion AmpliSeq Custom kit and read the sequences by Life technologies [Ion PGM] (Single-end: 200 bp).
